JAZZ CONCERT OF THE PECEK LAKATOS TRIO (HUN)

Adorján Lakatos Pecek - piano
Krisztián Lakatos Pecek - bass
András Lakatos Pecek - drums

The Pecek Lakatos Trio presents exuberant gypsy-jazz. The trio comprises of three members, coming from one of the most renowned Roma Gypsy musical dynasties in Hungary. These talented, young musicians infuse contemporary jazz with their rich heritage. The 'oldest' member of the band András is 24 years old, one of the best drummers of the new generation of the Hungarian jazz scene, also winners of the Jazz Drummers' Competition of the Hungarian Radio. The 17-year-old bass player Lakatos Pecek Krisztián fascinated the public in London Jazz Festival in 2004, and their cousin Adorján, who is also extremely talented with 15 years of age, plays with his fresh, free and easy style.
