Music by Debussy and Kodály - chamber music concert

 

Music by Debussy and Kodály performed by Mariann Marczi, pianist and teacher of the Franz Liszt Music Academy and Dóra Kokas, talented young cellist. 

Mariann Marczi teaches piano at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, she has won prizes in several national and international competitions, has played in the most important concert halls. Regularly plays at festivals, among others the International Bartók Festival, Szeged Chamber Music Festival, Prague-Vienna-Budapest Festival, pPianissimo Festival, Ziethen Music Festival. 

Dóra Kokas is an 18 year old, highly talented cellist, attended various masterclasses of world-famous artists like Miklós Perényi, Guido Schiefen, Vladimir Perlin, She had already played at some of Europe's well-known concert halls and won prizes at internationals competitions such as the  Liezen International Cello Contest, at the competition in Gorizia, Italy, or Porec, Croatia.

Emily Daina Saras is a CEU MA Student at the Sociology and Social Anthropology Department, and also a classical soprano. She has been performing professionally while doing opera studies at the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy. She recently performed a concert series of Debussy's, Ravel's and Bizet's music at the French Embassy and Embassy of the US in Lithuania.
