An Anthropologist's Eye - Exhibition of Judith Rasson

Judith Rasson graduated in History, Library Services and Anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She defended her PhD thesis in Anthropology at the State University of New York, Binghamton in 1984. Having taught in two universities at the United States, she became an assistant professor of the Department of Medieval Studies at Central European University in 2000. She received several scholarships and grants to do research in Sarajevo, Albania and Macedonia. Judith Rasson has taught university courses as Material Culture: Technology and Meaning, Cultural Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology for Medievalists and Academic Writing and Research Methodology at CEU. She is a passionate photographer and quiltmaker. This exhibition is to present her anthropological view through her photography and quilt.
