WHITE GOD - film screening in the Welcome Week

White God is a Hungarian drama film (in Hungarian with English subtitles), directed by Kornél Mundruczó, won the Prize Un Certain Regard at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. The film has been selected as the Hungarian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards. It present contemporary Budapest from a strange point of view. 13-year-old Lili fights to protect her pet Hagen. She is devastated when her father eventually sets Hagen free on the streets. Still innocently believing that love can win over any difficulty, Lili sets out to find her dog and save him.
