Dance Club with SZLAMA BAND - as part of the Welcome Party

Welcome Party usually starts with a frenetic dance together. Joy and fun are granted with Szlama Band this year!

Szlama Band was founded by Hungarian young folk musicians of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in 2011. They play tunes of Hungarian and Romanian music from Moldavia, across Transylvania to present-day Hungary’s many regions using a wide variety of instruments in authentic and new arrangements. Their specialty is singing not only in Hungarian but also in English, using translation of Hungarian folk songs made by the manager of the band Bálint Létay-Nagy.

The members are: Ágnes Korda - voice, László Szlama – lute, clarinet, whistle, Attila Mihó – violin, primtambura, Gábor Dragony – accordion, violin, zither, and Viktor Pandák – double bass.
