Dance Club with SZLAMA BAND - as part of the Welcome Party

Szlama Band was founded by young Hungarian folk musicians - all graduates from Franz Liszt Academy of Music - in 2011. They play Hungarian and Romanian tunes from Moldavia, across Transylvania to present-day Hungary’s many regions using a wide variety of instruments in authentic and new arrangements. Their specialty is singing not only in Hungarian but also in English, using translation of Hungarian folk songs made by the manager of the band Bálint Létay-Nagy.

Members are: Ágnes Korda - voice, László Szlama – lute, clarinet, whistle, Attila Mihó – violin, primtambura, Gábor Dragony – accordion, violin, zither, and Viktor Pandák – double bass.
