The man tormented by his emotions is enamored by laughter, tears, anger and fear. His emotions are a spiral forming a loop and repeating the emotional process, which he is a prisoner of… In this space we orchestrate daily life, focused on the world as we perceive and feel it.

Ismaera Takeo Ishii is a spiritual and experimental dancer from Japan, based in France. He graduated from Tokyo Visual Arts Dance School. He worked in different dance fields like contemporary dance in Tokyo with Tomohiko Tsujimoto (Cirque du Soleil), Butoh dance in Paris, African-Sabar dance in Dakar, Break dance on the streets in Tokyo, Hiphop/House dance in Tokyo and New York, jazz and modern dance in Tokyo and Broadway Dance Center in New York, and acrobatics in Tokyo and Paris. It’s an autonomous, unique dance expression that words cannot entirely explain. He accepts all the things that are heads and tails.

Admission is free! Supported by Japan Foundation

Ismaera leads the workshop ‘Dancing Until Death’ between 11 and 12.30 on September 15 in Hungarian Dance Academy (1075 Bp., Kazinczy u. 42-46.) for 2000 HUF/ class (90'). Registration beforehand is needed at
