Planet 55 acoustic concert

Planet 55 is an up-and-coming Hungarian band fusing hip-hop, trip hop, funk, soul and pop in their music. The members started playing together in 2007, back when they were called Jazzszeru. In 2008 singer, Flora Polnauer joined the band giving it a new voice and inspiration, as well as the new name. Planet 55 released their first record "Smokesigns" in 2008. Their hit single "Nowadays" soon became so popular that Hungarian radio station MR2 decided to add the song to their top selection CD of emerging Hungarian bands in 2009.

Planet 55’s acoustic trio consists of Flora Polnauer, Barna Szoke (guitar) and Kristof Gulyas (percussions). The acoustic repertoire allows the band to perform in smaller, more intimate venues and to reach new audiences. In addition to the acoustic versions of their own songs, the repertoire also includes covers, as well as improvisation.
