Invisible World

Tomas Liska is a young double-bass player who ranks among the best musicians and composers of the Czech music scene. During the past few years he took part in composing and arranging the repertoire of several projects - among them is the modern jazz band, Points, whose compositions have been broadcasted many times on Czech Radio with a very positive feedback.

Tomas Liska works in collaboration with his trio two world-famous colleagues: Italian Daniele DiBonaventura plays the bandoneon, acoustic guitar is mastered by Czech virtuoso David Doruzka.

The trio’s debut album, Invisible World came out on November 16, 2009 by the biggest Czech jazz label, Animal Music, under which the very best performers of the Czech jazz scene publish their original works. The new compositions are balancing on the edge of improvisation, jazz and classic. The sound of the trio is very personal, pure and acoustic, based primarily on the interpretational depth of the composed music. This creates a very original sound, unprecedented in the Czech music scene and genuinely unusual for the international scenes.
